The search options for Shaadi.com are great and are explained below. But we give it low marks because there are inconsistencies in how you categorize your caste, etc. For example, "Hindu: Bengali" and "Hindu: Bengali Brahmin" are treated as two completely seperate categories even though someone that is searching for a Bengali would be looking for a Bengali Brahmin. The results of Bengali Brahmins should show up in the search for Bengalis and not the other way around. In our profile, we are only allowed to make a change once so if we were to choose "Hindu: Bengali" then all the people doing searches for Bengali Brahmins will not even find your profile. What a shame. They need to look into this.
