Luckiest Man Ever in Thailand

So I woke up one morning with a really bad start to the day, it was hot. My whole bed was wet from my sweat! The A/C must have stopped working in the middle of the night. So I was grumpy, moody, and worst of all, tired. I went to the hotel receptionist to try to tell them that my A/C was not working but I could not communicate with them properly. So not only do they have faulty appliances or what not, they have an uneducated staff of workers. I became irate!

I demanded to see the manager and told them that I and my coworker. The hotel manager was very adamant that I not leave. I found out later that the reason for this was because I was overpaying for the room that I got. My friend and I were paying 1500 baht, which to me seemed cheap, for a room that the locals only pay 500 baht for. That is about $30 USD a night that I was overpaying. So the lady said that I should go to my room and that she'd come by to talk things through to me.
