Phil Wang - UCSDPhil Wang is an undergraduate student at UCSD. He is not affiliated with Shaadi Bliss nor has any of us met him but we list him on this site because of the work he has done in the Asian American film industry. Founder of Wongfu Productions, Phil Wang has been featured in Asian news broadcasts in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Notable short cinemas include: Memory Lane, Bad Directions, Yellow Fever, My Unspoken Words, The Luggage Salesman, Eighth of April. Bad Directions Phil challenges the stereotype that all Asians look the same with a witty, gruesome, entertaining short story drama. Produced in conjunction with Wesley Chan, John Lewis, Naho Minato, Patrick Reynolds for a UCSD class project. Yellow Fever He explores concepts of how asian men act and why it seems like they are losing their women. Also explores the concept and belief that all Asians look the same. A Moment With You This is their first cut at a full scale production piece. They will be featured at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, so cheer them on.
