Keiko Takahashi was born in 1956 in Tokyo.
She has developed a macro-philosophy called "Total Life" taught in on-going seminars for professionals in various fields (entrepreneurs, doctors, educators, scientists, lawyers, and artists) and in a prep school for young adults.
She is also the religious leader of a non-sectarian religious group (GLA) with a membership of 20,000 and an avid writer and lecturer.
