Miyazaki Aoi is a popular and talented Japanese actress born in 1985. She got her start in 2000 with the drama "Hatachi no Kekkon". Though it was a small part, she was quickly put in other dramas after its end. In 2001 Aoi marked her crossover into gravure with her first photobook "Ikenai?". Two others were released but ever since her 3rd book "Happy Tail", Aoi has been focusing on modeling for fashion magazines and her ever-progressing acting career. While she's already well-known in Japan, it will be her role as Komatsu Nana in the movie adaptation of the manga "NANA" that will make her popular with Western fans.
