Mr. Ken Matsudaira (nicknamed "Matsuken") was born on November 28, 1953, in Aichi, Japan. He is the youngest son of seven children.Mr. Matsudaira began his acting career in 1969, studying and performing with Gekidan Fuji, one of the major acting companies based in Tokyo. In 1974, he was apprenticed to Mr. Shintaro Katsu, the famous Japanese actor/producer best known for his role as the blind swordsman Zatoichi. While the work involved many menial tasks, it offered Mr. Matsudaira a unique opportunity to learn acting directly from a true master of the craft.
