Dhokla lentil snack gram

Dhokla is a well known and widely popular dish from the cuisine of the western Indian state of Gujarat. It is a gram flour based dish, spiced with chutneys and chillies.

The dish is fluffy and spongy and is soaked with tangy sauce of tamarind and coriander. Dhokla is sweet sour in taste and melts as soon as you place it in your mouth. It is very nutritious and a great appetizer. It is an integral part of the Gujrati cuisine.
