Biryani Rice

Biryani is extremely famous almost every part of India as well as other parts of world. It is mainly a recipe from the mughalai cuisine. It originated from the regions of Persia and slowly moved to Afghanistan and then India. It soon became so popular in North India that it became a part of the cuisine.

Hydrabadi biryani is most famous type of Biryani in India. It is a version of biryani made in the kitchens of the Nizam rulers of Hyderabad. Mainly it is a non veg dish.

We are writing a recipe to make a chicken biryani as it is all time favorite and loved by all.

To make chicken biryani you need chicken , rice , onion , cardamom, pepper , butter , garlic , ginger paste , bay leaf.

Start making it by washing the chicken well and getting it ready to be put directly in the masala(spice mixture)that we are going to prepare.
First put butter in the cooker then add chopped onion , little tomato paste to it. Stir it and add garlic, ginger paste and bay leaf to it. Add some pepper and salt also. Put some cardamom also for added taste.

Now its time to wait. Stir the masala with spoon for some time till it becomes red. When ready, put some washed long rice in it and add chicken to it. Add some water to it and stir well. Make sure you put right amount of the water.

After 4 whistles, your biryani is ready. Serve hot.
