The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) launched the certification program for financial analysts in 1985.The Institute is a non-profit society registered under the A.P. (Telangana Area) Public Societies Act. The Institute has established an all India network of its own branch offices at over 240 locations, to provide various support services to students. Currently, there are over 75,000 students pursuing various programs. There are over 3,000 faculty members engaged in teaching, research and consulting.
Campus Programs are offered at graduate and postgraduate levels at various centers of excellence at many locations all over India. These centers include The Icfai Business School, The Icfai Institute for Management Teachers, The Icfai School of Financial Studies, The Icfai School of Banking Studies, The Icfai School of Marketing Studies, The Icfai School of Human Resource Development, The Icfai School of Public Policy, The Icfai School of Information Technology , The Icfai Institute of Science and Technology, The Icfai National College, and The Icfai College of Education.
The Research and Publications centers of the Institute are members of the European Case Clearing House (ECCH), a global depository of management case studies. They are active members from India in ECCH and contribute cases to ECCH. Icfai cases are being widely used in leading business schools all over the world including London Business School, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of Michigan, Stanford University, and Cornell University. ECCH also distributes case studies in many languages produced by individual authors from across the globe
