Asia Pacific Institute of Management Studies (AIM), New Delhi, was established in the year 1996 by a non-profitable autonomous body called All India Asian Education Foundation (AIAEF). The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has approved the PGDBM program of AIM. AIM is ranked as an A+ category Business School and rated as the best in “Program Delivery” among the super league of Top 20 business schools in India. AIM is awarded 6th rank in Intellectual Capital, 16th in infrastructure and 24th in placement in India as per AIMA-Business Standard survey.
AIM's program for its Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) is spread over two years. Each academic year is divided into three terms. The program consists of 35 courses. Students can specialize in any two of the following areas - Finance, Marketing, HRM, International Business, Operations Management and Systems.
All aspiring candidates must be graduates in any stream, with at least 50% marks in aggregate from any Indian University. In addition, the following undergraduate programs are offered: BCA, B.Sc (Biotechnology), B.Sc (Bio-Informatics), BJMC (Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication), and BBA (Bachelors of Business Administration).

The Centre for Corporate Relations, an innovative and unique concept for a management institute, functions at AIM. CCR acts as a resource centre for faculty, students and Industry. CCR actively involves students in various activities to develop the Participative Managerial Effectiveness. CCR also helps students by counseling them to choose an appropriate career.
