	Sree Buddha College of Engineering
The Sree Buddha College of Engineering (SBCE) was founded by the Sree Buddha Educational Society, Kollam, which is a charitable organization. Since its establishment in 2002, SBCE has grown to be one of the best institutions among the new generation engineering colleges in Kerala. Sree Buddha College of Engineering is affiliated to University of Kerala.

The college offers 4 year (8 semesters) B.Tech courses in the following branches: B.Tech Electronics and Communication, B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering, B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, and B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 50% seats are filled up by the Director of Technical Education on the basis of the entrance test conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. For Management quota it is essential that the candidate should have passed the entrance test of the State or Central Governments.

There are independent computer labs for each department. The main computer laboratory is equipped with 90 PCs.  A computer centre with Broadband Internet access is also available. The college has a well-organized and computerized library with a collection of more than 20,000 books. It includes latest technical encyclopedia, national and international journals and general books in addition to a variety of CDs. To enhance the communicative skills of students, a Language lab has been set up. Trained and experienced teachers impart training in spoken English and other foreign languages.

A Training and Placement Cell provides all audio-visual facilities for written test, group discussion and interviews. It plays a key role in guiding the students of the college for successful placement.
