	Sahrdaya College of Science & Technology
Sahrdaya College of Science and Technology is situated in Thrissur, Kerala. It was established in 2001 by the Irinjalakuda Diocese Educational Trust. The Trust was established in the year 1978, in order to meet the educational and health needs in the state of Kerala.

The AICTE, New Delhi sanctioned the establishment of Sahrdaya College to run the four B. Tech Degree courses leading to Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology. The intake is 60 students in each of the courses, from the academic year 2002-2003. The Government of Kerala included the Sahrdaya College as one of the engineering colleges to which the students have to be admitted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination from the year 2002-2003, in the four branches sanctioned by the AICTE.

Tutorial classes are provided once in a week in every subject. The students can develop the analytical skills and get the doubts clarified from the teachers. Students are also encouraged to deliver seminars for 15 to 20 minutes on topics suggested by the staff members. Students' counseling is arranged every week for a group of ten students. Group discussions are held on relevant topics. Special lectures are regularly arranged from eminent educationists, academicians, industrialists, and social workers.

Sports facilities are provided to the students under the supervision of a qualified Physical Education Instructor. Yoga classes are organized for all the students once in a week. Human development programs are also planned to improve personality through dynamism, initiative and participation for personal benefit.
