	SAINTGITS College of Engineering
SAINTGITS College of Engineering is located in Pathamuttom,Kottayam. It was established by the Mar Gregorios Educational Society, Kottayam. The Governing Board includes eminent educationalists, technocrats and professionals. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.

The Students are admitted in each branch through the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Kerala as per norms of self-financing institutions. B.Tech Degree courses are offered in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. All the departments except Mechanical Engineering have an intake of 60 students; the latter has an intake of 120 students. Postgraduate degree courses offered are Master of Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration.

The college has a Student Welfare Department, which provides opportunities for physical, mental and intellectual development. Hobby Clubs, Literary & Fine Arts Club, and Debate Club & Discussion Group are some of the active clubs in the college. NSS activities are also scheduled regularly.

The college has a fully computerized library. There is an online Public Access Catalogue for students. There is also an Audio-Visual Section in the library premises. An Internet Browsing Center has been established. CD/DVD writing facilities are available for users.
There are four separate hostels for women and men students, with spacious and well furnished rooms. The hostels can accommodate more than 500 students. Outdoor and indoor games including a Gymnasium are provided for recreation and entertainment.
