Nehru College of Engineering & Research Centre

Nehru College of Engineering & Research Centre is situated in Thiruvilwamala, Thrissur. This college was established in the year 2002 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and affiliation granted by University of Calicut. International Certification Services has observed that this institution is a centre of excellence in Engineering Education with highly qualified, richly experienced and extraordinarily talented professors on its staff. The college is managed by the Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust, which was established in the year 1968.

NCERC now offers 6 Undergraduate programs in engineering and a Postgraduate program in Management. The courses offered in the institute are: Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Information Technology Engineering. An MBA program is also offered.

The laboratories are equipped with the latest sophisticated equipments and imported machinery. The workshops are built on the lines of ultra modern shops. The Computer Centre and Electronics Laboratory are also well equipped. Comfortable accommodation is provided for men students and women students in separate locations. NCERC has a unique system of “flexi meals cards’. Purchasing meals upfront at the start of each semester allows students to enjoy significant savings.

In order to mould the students into eminent engineers and useful citizens, several Student Development Programs are run in this institute. Many co-curricular and extra curricula activities are initiated as part of this initiative. The college invites eminent scholars to give lectures, holds seminar classes and conducts personality development schemes. The student chapter of IEEE is functioning on campus.
