	Musaliar College of Engineering &  Technology
Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology is located in Kollam, Kerala. It is a prominent institution under the professional management of the Musaliar Education Trust, a charitable trust founded by prominent educationalists and technocrats. The college is approved by AICTE and Government of Kerala, and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.

The institution offers B.Tech degree programs in the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. All the departments except Electronics & Communication have an annual intake of 60 students. The latter has an intake of 90 students every year. A minimum of 75% attendance is required to entitle a student to appear in the University examinations. A student is declared passed by the university in a subject if he or she scores a minimum of 40% marks in the written examination.

The courses are conducted as per the academic standards and regulations that are laid down by the MG University. The curriculum is updated as and when required. Attention is also given to co curricular and extra mural activities like student counseling, Industrial & Field training, seminars, symposia, group discussions, and project work. A Training and Placement Cell imparts structured training in line with corporate world requirement.

There are well equipped laboratories attached to different divisions for teaching, research and consulting activities. A collection of more than 10,000 volumes of engineering books, journals and periodicals are available in the campus library. Other salient features comprise a Digital library, in house Internet connectivity, and a vast collection of reference books.
