	Lourdes Matha College of Science & Tech
Lourdes Matha College of Science & Technology is located in Kuttichal, Thiruvananthapuram. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the University of Kerala. The college was established by the "Lourdes Matha Catholic Educational Society" and has been approved by the Government of Kerala.

Lourdes Matha College of Science & Technology offers the following undergraduate programs:  B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering, B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering, B.Tech Information Technology, B.Tech Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. In addition, the college also has Master of Computer Applications and MBA programs. To be eligible for admission, students have to pass in Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations with 50% marks for Mathematics, and 50% aggregate for Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.
They also have to qualify in the entrance test conducted by Entrance Commission with good rank.

The Central library has nearly 10,000 Volumes of books, including 1200 reference books. It subscribes to more than 60 journals and periodicals. Library transactions are fully computerized.  Both computerized and hard copy catalogues are available. There is also a CD ROM Station which has a collection of more than 700 multimedia CDs. All the members of staff and students of the college are entitled to use the Library.

The Training and Placement Cell of the college assists students in securing employment with reputed organizations. The Cell organizes management skill development programs and personality development programs. The Career Guidance Cell works in partnership with it. An Industry-Institute Interaction Cell has also been established recently to train students.
