	Kannur University of Kerala Medical College
The Kannur University of Kerala Medical College (also known as Pariyaram Medical College) is a premier center of medical education in the state. It is located in Pariyaram in Kannur district of Kerala. The college offers an undergraduate course in medicine and courses in General Nursing. The institute is located at a distance of 16 kilometers from the university.

The institution has maintained the best results in Kerala in all university examinations consistently. It aims to offer several courses in various areas of medical science and is set to launch postgraduate medical courses in the near future. The college is affiliated to Kannur University and all the courses are approved by the Medical Council of India.

The college offers 100 seats in the undergraduate MBBS course and 26 seats in General Nursing. Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) courses are also offered. 50 of the 100 MBBS seats are reserved for management and NRI quota. It delivers quality medical and paramedical education with an infrastructure that is one of the best in the country. The graduates learn to apply their skills in all types of clinical and community settings.

The medical college has an attached 1000-bedded Hospital complex. This acts as a teaching hospital for the Medical College. The Dental College was started in 2004. It has special clinics in the departments of Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine, Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Paedodontics, and Periodontics. The Faculty College of Nursing is a place for nursing practice, nursing education and nursing research.
