Ilahia College of Engineering & Technology

Ilahia College of Engineering and Technology is located in Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district of Kerala. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. 60 students are admitted to each branch through Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Government of Kerala. It is a self financing institution.

The college offers Bachelor’s Degree courses in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, and Electrical Engineering. It is mandatory for candidates to pass 10+2 or equivalent, with 50% marks in mathematics sand 50% in aggregate of mathematics, physics and chemistry. All the courses are approved by the AICTE. The infrastructure available in the college for the students follows the norms of the AICTE. All the laboratories are well-equipped with the latest equipments.

The college has an active Training and Placement Cell. The cell conducts mock interviews, organizes seminars, expert lectures, classes for Personality Development and communication skills. Parents are able to access the grades of their wards through the website and also through regular interaction with the teachers. Parent-teacher meetings are scheduled at regular intervals.

The Computer Center offers computational facilities for teaching and research programs in the various departments of the University. It is equipped with high performance computer servers, file servers and work stations. Internet access is free for all students. The Library has a wide collection of the latest books, periodicals and CDs. The college maintains a Book Bank facility for use by the students belonging to backward classes.
