I E S College of Engineering

The IES College of Engineering is located in Chittilappilly in Trissur district of Kerala. The campus is decked with all kinds of amenities and activities. Surrounded by a host of culture and pilgrim spots, the institute provides a refreshing ambience. It is a hi-tech technical training institution, under self-financing scheme, run by the Ideal Education Society and managed by the various committees of IES. The college is affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University of Calicut.

The college offers the following B.Tech courses with an intake of 60 students in each stream: Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. In addition, two new B.Tech courses have been sanctioned by the AICTE in June 2006. These are in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Fifty percent of the seats are reserved for candidates through management quota and the rest through government quota. Admission to management quota seats is regulated by merit, assessed in the Engineering Entrance Examination.
