Government Engineering College, Kozhikode

Government Engineering College (GEC), Kozhikode is one of the prestigious engineering institutions under the department of Technical Education, Kerala. It was established in 1999. GEC has been rated consistently among the top technical institutes in Kerala, with students admitted purely on the basis of merit. The college is affiliated to University of Calicut and offers B.Tech Degree courses. The syllabus followed by the college is considered to be one of the toughest in the country.

The cell conducts various programs on personality development, communication skills, and group discussions. The Central Library has a vast collection of books, along with international and national technical journals. It is fully computerized. The Computer Center is equipped with different computing environments like UNIX, Sun Solaris and Linux. The center offers free internet connectivity.
