	College of Engineering , Thalassery
The College of Engineering, Thalassery (CETLY) was established in the year 2000. The institution comes under the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), Thiruvananthapuram. This College is affiliated to the Cochin University of Science and Technology.

The institution offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in the following disciplines: Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Admission is made as per the rank obtained by eligible candidates in the state-level Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams. Half of the seats in the college are available upon payment.

The College of Engineering, Thalassery has full-fledged laboratories with modern instruments. The electronics laboratory features equipment to serve the purposes of microprocessor training, Digital Electronics Laboratory, Electronics Circuits Laboratory, and Logic Design Laboratory. The Computer laboratory features around 60 computers connected across a LAN with two powerful servers. The entire laboratory is powered by a backup power supply system. The laboratory has other basic amenities such as high-speed printers, scanners, and CD writers. The campus library has over 4000 volumes in 2500 titles, 250 reference books, 5 periodicals, journals and a number of dailies.

The college organizes Carpentry and Fitting workshops to give students a hands-on experience about basic mechanical industry tasks. Students are also exposed to simple electrical connections in the Electrical workshop. A career guidance and placement unit invites companies like HCL, Amlaki, US Technologies, and NeST for campus recruitments.  The IT Association conducts seminars, quizzes, debate competitions and presentations.
