Sagi RamaKrishnam Raju Engineering College (S.R.K.R. Engineering College) is a co-educational, independent and a private engineering college. It established in 1980 to provide better quality technical education to students. It is located on Bhimavaram - Juvvalapalem state highway; just 2 miles from Bhimavaram, an ancient town in Andhra Pradesh. This college is one among the first five private engineering colleges established in Andhra Pradesh.
The college was accorded permanent affiliation by Andhra University from 1987 for four-year degree courses. The college has some good infrastructure including spacious classrooms, well equipped laboratories, library, computer centers, playgrounds, co-operative stores, bank, post-office, and canteen. It has been able to embrace a team of the finest faculty and other necessary physical facilities that are needed for the teaching process.
The college provides under-graduate and post-graduate courses in diverse disciplines. Undergraduate courses are offered in Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Technology. Postgraduate courses are offered in Structural Engineering, Communication Systems, Computer Science & Technology, and Information Technology. The Bachelor’s programs in Civil and Mechanical Engineering are accredited by All India Council of Technical Education.
EAMCET is the sole test that is to be cleared for getting admission to the course. Besides, the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) or equivalent on the date of his/her counseling for admission to the course. The college has been consistently securing top university ranks since its inception in all engineering disciplines. |
