Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management

Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management, or GITAM, was established by a team of industrialists and socially conscious distinguished personalities of Visakhapatnam city.

The College of Engineering offers degree programs at both under graduate and post graduate levels. A variety of subjects are covered, including Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Electronics, Computers, Industrial Engineering and Information Technology. The College of Management has degree programs in Business Administration, with specializations in HR Management and International Business.

The GITAM Library named after Sir Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India. It is one of the most modern and fully computerized libraries in India. It has vast collection of books and periodicals and monographs in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Science, Management, Medicine and Literature. In addition, students have the facility of using broadband Internet, providing connectivity to over 450 systems over the campus.

GITAM is located on a beautiful, overlooking the blue waters of Bay of Bengal. Its serene and peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal place for healthy pursuit of knowledge by the students. The Institute has the unique privilege of being situated away from the noise and buzz of the city in a calm environment. The spacious campus has excellent infrastructural facilities including libraries, Audio-Visual Labs etc.
