Ravi Teja is a noted Telegu film actor who began his acting career as a character artist and gradually has become one of the leading film stars of the industry.
Ravi Teja does not come from a filmy background. His father was a pharmacist and his mother, an engineer with Tata Industries. He spent his early life in North India and later his family shifted to Vijaywada, where he studied in Siddhartha Degree College. His son was born in July 2006.
Career: ravi Teja started his career as an assistant director with Krishna Vamsi for his movie Ninne Pelladatha, with Mahesh Bhatt for Criminal, and other directors as well. His friend Y.V.S Chowdary helped him to obtain some offers from Bollywood as a script writer. Then he began acting in minor roles. He played the role of a terrorist in Krishna Vamsi’s film "Sindhooram". The Telugu film industry recognized his acting prowess in that film. His first big break was ‘Idiot’ by Puri Jagannadh in 2002. The very same here, he acted in Krishna Vamsi's Khadgam, and the film went on to become a huge big box office success. From that point, there was no looking back for Teja. Despite some occasional flops, he consistently delivers hit films and in the year 2006, he got the biggest hit of his career Vikramarkudu. He believes that intelligence might fail a man but hard work never will.
