Another star-rivalry is in the offing. Teen-sensation Mahesh has decided to take on currently-in-demand NTR Jr by releasing his film Okadu on the same day as NTR Jr's Naaga - January 15. They say, Mahesh is out to prove that he can still give NTR Jr, a run for his money, in terms of popularity. A few months ago, the industry was abuzz with rumours that Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi was reluctant to take-on NTR Jr and released his own Indra, a few weeks after the Jr's Allari Ramudu. However, some of the old-timers recall that Mahesh's father - veteran actor Krishna - rose to dizzying heights by pitting his films opposite the legendary NTR's, who was then the undisputed box-office Badshah.
