Trust is the most important thing you need as a man if you want to get a girl interested and take the next step.

There are numerous possibilities when it comes to online dating. When two people chat over internet, they are far away from what they are in their real lives. For example, a guy may sound very rude and shrewd over chat but turn out to be broad-minded and soft-spoken in real life. So, cyberspace is full of uncertainties. When it comes to meeting someone, it needs a few challenges to be faced before you plan to hook up with somebody.

When I first made my profile on a famous dating site, as I expected, I started getting hundreds of friendship requests and emails flooded with requests to either talk to me or to see me. I started chatting with some guys and as the time went by, I realized that cyberspace had very quick results to offer but it did not promise anything. Most of the guys I talked to were desperate to talk or meet including many of them, totally unaware of etiquettes of chatting and some of them were even a threat to my security if I planned to meet them. Whatever! But I could never be convinced that the guy I am talking to is decent and promising.  

If you plan to meet a girl you regularly chat over Internet, there should be some homework done before that. I recommend being decent with girls over internet chat and never talk anything cheap with her. You need to win her trust before you see her. There is no fixed rule for time, as to how much you should wait before hooking up to meet, but initially, you must identify if she trusts you or not. Once she takes you as a decent guy and trusts you completely, you must ask her to tell you a date and place where she is most comfortable. Even if she tells you a place which you think may be a threat to her security, ask her out if she is really comfortable with the place. If she is positive, go ahead.  

The secret of successful dating with your cyber friend is all about how similar you feel to how you feel over chat. When you both meet, try to share something that you would generally discuss over the internet chat. That would help you to become friendlier with each other.
