Not Enough Heart to Go Around - Love is a Race

Sometimes the path to someone's heart is more about being first than being the best.

Unlike real life where we exclusively date someone and take things further, matrimonials sites allow multiple people into our lives. We are never exclusive to any single individual and always chat it up with multiple people. A player's paradise, I guess.

It becomes far too common for people to end up interested in more than one person. There is nothing wrong with it, just an inherent trait of the online matchmaking process. So here are a couple of observations I made.

If a woman likes two people, she will marry the first one to ask her.

Men realize this and take advantage of it, so ladies be forewarned. I have seen countless examples of men getting serious with a girl not because they were really interested but as a safety net in case something better does not come their way. It is sad but true. How far are these guys willing to take it? Try engagement!

I knew of a woman three years ago get engaged to a guy only to be later told he was no longer interested. She was short (under 5 foot) and fat but he kept her around because he was being pressured into getting married by his family. He still waited to see if he could find someone better. She has gotten over that and has since married to the most wonderful dude with the help of Shaadi.com.

A filipina female friend of mine is currently deciding between two men and when asked who she loves more, her response was "I love them equally but the guy in the Philippines loves me more." She was more concerned with the level of love furnished upon her than what she really feels inside.

Women need to follow their heart a little bit more instead of jumping at the first dude to be serious, because you could end up with a player instead.

Some guys fall in love quickly, others take time. But regardless of the mental make-up of the individual, this applies to all men. When a man mentions ex-lovers in a lovey-dovey way, stay away from the loser because his heart is beating somewhere else.
